You can get extra points by using more than one word that starts with that letter.For example, if the category is fruit, and the letter is R, you can’t say red apple. You can’t use adjectives as the answer.Unless it’s a double letter then it’s 2 points – more on that below. If your answer doesn’t match anyone’s and it makes sense, then you get a point for that answer. If you have the same answer as anyone else, then you have to cross that one off your list, and it doesn’t count as a point. When the timer goes off, everyone compares answers.For example, if the category says “Christmas decorations” and the letter is L, you could write lights for your answer. Each category you complete should start with that letter. When you say go, players use the selected letter to answer each category.You could do shorter or longer depending on the age group and everyone’s skill level. Write the letter at the top of the page or column where you will write your answers.It would be well-advised to not use letters like Q, Z, I, etc. If you want it to be random, you can put all the letters in a hat and draw one each time. Younger kids can play if they are on a team with an adult and want to help out.

Free Printable Spring Scattergories Game Categories Players score one point for each answer not crossed out. Cross out any answers that matched another player’s. Each guest will have to make unique words with each letter for each category within the assigned time. Players take turns reading their lists. Give each player a pen or pencil and set the timer to 3 minutes or 5 minutes. If you do not have a die then use the game worksheets that I have created using Spring related words, Spring and Flower. If you have a die then use the blank categories list.
